Bendable PVC track for bays, bows and awkward corners, cut to the metre.
Some ceilings do not offer you a straight line to work with. This track is made to be bent on site, so an L-shaped corner or a shallow bow is a normal fitting rather than a special order.
It is cut to the metre, so an awkward shape does not mean buying a fixed length and throwing half of it away.
The track is white flexible PVC, designed to flex without cracking or breaking when you shape it.
Work the curve in gradually rather than forcing it in one movement. A gentle bend holds its shape; a sharp kink is a weak point.
Bring your ceiling fixings closer together through the bend. That is where the curtain weight pulls hardest, and it is the difference between a track that keeps its shape and one that slowly straightens out.
Still deciding?
Not sure yet? That is fine.
You cannot always judge a product from a photograph. If it is not right for you, send it back within 15 days of delivery in resaleable condition and we refund the price you paid, including standard delivery. That is on top of your Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 rights if anything arrives faulty.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 covers you, and we pay the return postage. The complete guide
Fitting ceiling curtain track
5 min readBuyFactory Direct
Measure the run first, following the shape you actually want the curtain to take rather
than the straight line between the two end points. On a bay that means measuring along
each face and around both angles. Add a little for the return at each end.
Mark your fixing points on the ceiling before you offer the track up. Straight sections
are comfortable at roughly 30 to 40 cm spacing. Bring the fixings closer together through
a bend, and closer again if the curtain is heavy, because that is where the weight tries
to pull the track out of shape.
Bend the track by hand as you go, working the curve in gradually rather than forcing it
in one movement. The PVC is meant to flex, but a sharp kink is a weak point rather than a
neat corner. Feed the runners on before you fix the final end stop, or you will be taking
it down again.
A cordless screwdriver makes the overhead work much easier than a hand driver, and we
sell one alongside the track for that reason.
